- We will be having our students read an article, "K-12 Public School Student Expression," in groups. The groups will include both high-level and low-level readers. The high-level readers will be required to read the entire article, while the lower-level readers will only be required to read portions of the article that will be chunked beforehand. The groups will be discussing the article - the higher level readers will be expected to lead group discussions, and give a synopsis of the article for the entire group.
- In the article (K-12 Public School Student Expression) we will be reading there will be some difficult vocabulary so students who need differentiation will receive a vocabulary list and the article a head of time so they will have time to preview the material and have a reference sheet for the new vocabulary terms.
